The majority of construction materials were purchased at Home Lumber Company of Winfield.

Ranger, Addition and Remodel:

This is the continuation of an on going remodel and renovation project that started in 2006 with a kitchen remodel. After that we replaced all of the windows in the house with nice Pella, Designer series windows with shades between the glass. At that time the plan was to add on a family room when Mrs Ranger retired, which has now happened. This brings us to the current room addition and remodel that also included the repair and replacement of some water damaged floor joists. The addition is a 16' x 20' family room with a vaulted ceiling and new composite deck. The foundation work was done by Arthur Contreas from Arkansas City with the concrete purchased from Daniels Ready Mix. The majority of the of the construction materials have been and will be purchased from Home Lumber Company.

Miller, Addition

This project consisted of a building a 12' x 12' room over an existing concrete storm room and the construction of a 12' x 20' deck. The project is being done in phases with this first phase including the framing and drying in of the room and construction of a partially covered deck. Most of the material was purchased from Home Lumber Co. including the Hardi brand fiber cement lap siding and the Evergrain composite deck flooring and railing. Roofing was done by Mark Bloyer of Bloyer Roofing. Insulated white aluminum clad wood Pella ProLine windows and patio door were installed by Timber Creek Construction.

Evangelical Free Church, Siding & Window Replacement

Evangelical Free Church of Winfield approached us about reducing the size and number of windows in their sanctuary, install Whirlwind brand vertical ribbed steel siding to match the siding on Family Life Center and to insulate exterior walls that were not already insulated. This was a fairly extensive project that needed to allow the church to continue to use their facility through out the duration of the project. One of the issues with the windows was that of sun shining through them, both east and west, during the time of worship. We handled this by installing brown aluminum clad wood Pella Designer Series fixed windows with room darkening shades between the panes of glass and reducing the number from ten to six. The R-15 fiberglass blown-in and/or batts was done by Dennis Insulation for Derby, Kansas.

Grammon Bedroom Remodel
Galaxy Tool Corp., Office Remodel:

This remodeling project is being done to turn an existing confence room in to two seperate offices. They need the additional offices to accomidate two new employees, that have already been employed. This creates an urgancy to start and complete the project as soon as possible. Because this is a commercial project it requires a floor plan with an architects stamp. So we employed John Heckman with Heckman and Associates, from Independence Kansas. Framing material, insulation, drywall, suspended ceiling and wood trim were all supplied by Home Lumber Co. Due to short delivery time and wider jambs needed due to using 5/8" sheetrock we got the doors from Star Lumber Co., because they have their own door shop and could make them for us in time frame needed. Commercial carpet tile, ceramic cove base and door hardware were purchased from Designers Expo in Wichita.
