Mark began his construction career right after high school in 1977. He began working with a contractor, helping to frame houses, and then began to work for himself as well as operate the family farm. In the early 90's after his father passed away, he decided to leave farming and pursue the construction industry. He and a couple of partners formed SMR Builders, until 2003 where he formed his own company, Timber Creek Construction. Mark has lived his entire life in the Winfield area and resides in a house built by his Great Grandfather in 1916. Mark enjoys motor sports, especially NASCAR and spends a lot of time serving in many different capacities at Tisdale United Methodist Church. Mark also serves as the Disaster Response Coordinator for the Wichita East District.
Mark Eastman
Tony is our Production Manager and comes to us with 35 years of construction experience. He brings with him a wealth of experience in kitchen design and full kitchen remodels. During the 80's he owned a drywall and painting company in California. Tony enjoys the challenge of turning a customer's vision into a reality. He finds the creativity and ingenuity required to renovate an existing structure to be more satisfying than doing new construction, though he is an expert at both. Tony grew up in on a farm in Winfield, Kansas and enjoys gardening, fishing and of course, woodworking and carpentry.
Tony Cantrell
John comes to us with 23 years of experience in the banking industry and serves as our Administrative Assistant. He has also worked as a TV repairman, newspaper pressman and a host of other positions which give him an interesting background. He enjoys working with technology, and using those tools in imaginative and creative ways. John grew up in Cunningham. a small town near Pratt, Ks and later attended Vo-Tech in Liberal, Ks to study electronics. John has many interest and one of his big "passions" is decorating his house with lights at Christmas.
John Shelman
John has over 40 years of experience in the building industry. He has an impressive list of contractors whom he has worked with during that time, giving him a broad knowledge and wide range of experience. John says he enjoys, “..taking the raw materials of nature and turning them into something people can use and enjoy.” He grew up in Kansas, spending most of his life in the Winfield and Coffeyville area. John has a wide range of interests, he likes the 60’s, gardening, music and model cars. He is a drummer, loves old cars and exploring scenic areas of the country.
